1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ProposalCraft ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Service.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or by placing a notice on our website. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

2. Account Registration and Security

To use ProposalCraft, you need to create an account using a valid email address. We use magic link authentication — there are no passwords to manage.

3. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

ProposalCraft offers a free plan and several paid plans (Starter, Professional, and Enterprise). Plan details and pricing are available on our Pricing page.

Free Plan: Limited features with usage caps. No credit card required.

Paid Plans: Billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period unless you cancel.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial months.

Price Changes: We may change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You own everything you create using ProposalCraft. Your proposals, documents, and uploaded content remain your intellectual property. We don't claim ownership of your work.

Our Platform: ProposalCraft, including its design, code, features, methodology, and branding, is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.

License to Us: By uploading content to ProposalCraft, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service to you. We won't sell your content or use it for purposes unrelated to operating the Service.

7. E-Signatures and Payment Processing

ProposalCraft integrates with third-party services for e-signatures and payment collection:

E-Signatures (SignWell): When you send a proposal for signature, it is processed through SignWell. Their terms and privacy policy also apply. We don't guarantee the legal enforceability of e-signatures in your jurisdiction — consult local regulations.

Payment Collection (Stripe): If you enable payment collection on proposals, payments are processed through Stripe Connect. You must agree to Stripe's terms of service. ProposalCraft takes a platform fee on payments processed through the Service.

We are not a party to the agreements between you and your clients. We facilitate the tools but don't guarantee payment or contract enforcement.

8. Limitation of Liability

ProposalCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

By You: You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@proposalcraft.io. We'll delete your data within 30 days of account closure.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to the Service or other users. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify you beforehand.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. For material changes, we'll provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

If you disagree with the changes, your remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Denmark. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
